Tumour Vaccine News

It’s like something out of the television show “Star Trek” where doctors of the future could heal people with one shot.
It’s a story about a possible universal vaccine that is said to be able to halt the spread of tumors in their tracks.
The vaccine technology is called the TeloVac which has already seen action in Britain for treating hundreds of the folks there for pancreatic cancer. The TeloVac jab uses the body’s own way of defending itself.
The new technology enables the vaccine to target the telomerase enzyme which allows cancer cells to thrive whilst destroying other healthy cells. Buy cutting off the cancer cells’ lifeline the tumors die and no longer can spread.
The trials of the vaccine won’t be known for about a year but the outlook is hopeful so far. Should it prove to be effective then the reach of this new technology would be astronomical in the treatment of the deadliest forms of cancer known to man.
Such a vaccine could either treat, cure, or give a person far more time when deadly cancers strike. In combination with other effective methods the options appear limitless, at least giving the victims as much time as possible as other treatments, cures, and preventions can be developed.
Should all prove well in the trials the world will see a boom in treatments the like of which hasn’t been seen since the invention of the polio vaccine.
