These type of flocking birds do everything together and in sync with each other. If this particular flock got into something poisonous, chances are they did it all at the same time. The birds having identical metabolism, it could have taken affect in each bird at relatively the same time. That's all I can really conjure up. I just don't know though, this is weird...
