Angie Cromar:Pregnant With 2 Babies Due A Week Apart – Double Uterus

Angie Cromar:Pregnant With 2 Babies Due A Week Apart – Double Uterus – A Utah nurse is expecting to give birth to her baby in about five months, which will be followed by a second baby a week later. Angie Cromar was born with a double uterus, which is also known as uterus didelphys.

This means that two siblings that are not twins and are growing side by side in her uterus.

Cromar is 34 years old, and already has two healthy children. She found out that she was pregnant with two children during her first ultrasound.

The ultrasound showed that both babies are at slightly different stages of development, and are expected to be born about one week apart from one another.

“Angie and I both had a look of surprise,” said her doctor, Dr. Steve Terry.

A number of complications can come from giving birth with a double uterus. In rare occasions, the issue may not be diagnosed, and women who have the condition are much more likely to miscarry or give birth prematurely.

The chances of getting pregnant in each uterus are about one in five million. Less than 100 have been reported worldwide so far. Cromar said that she was nervous, and that she was aware of the complications that could arise.

“Oh, I’m a little nervous, just because I know what can happen,” she said. “But I’m really excited.”
Good luck to Mrs. Cromar. Hopefully everything goes as smoothly as she hopes.
